Introducing EscuelasCool

We are launching EscuelasCool, funded by the Wellcome Climate Impacts Award, to make the impact of extreme heat on the health and wellbeing of school students in Latin America visible.

Over the coming years we will work with institutions in Chile, Colombia and Peru to map heat exposure in schools, study its effects on cognition and wellbeing, and co-design protective public policies.
