HeatSchools begins

We are launching HeatSchools, funded by the Wellcome Climate Impacts Award, to make the impact of extreme heat on the health and wellbeing of school students in Latin America visible.

Over the next 36 months we will work with institutions in Peru, Chile and Colombia to map heat exposure in schools, study its effects on cognition and wellbeing, and co-design protective public policies.
